Plug & Play
Plug & Play
Assembled, strung, and regulated.
Play it straight out of the box!
Enjoy the world’s most accessible and portable electroacoustic harp with no frills, no stress.
Available in four finishes - Natural, Black, Mahogany, White.
For some destinations, the tension on the higher strings is lowered before shipment to prevent breakage. Just bring it back to tune once you receive it. If you are in a very different climate from our studio in the Netherlands, your harp will need to acclimatize a bit. In these cases, you will have to do some small regulation and tuning work for a few days after delivery.
For full enjoyment of your instrument, we recommend the following accessories:
- Carrying bag: Securely fits the harp and stand, includes spacious front pocket.
- Strap and buckles: For wearing your harp in the traditional upright position or the delta/guitar position.
Note for left-handed players:
If you need your String & Go assembled left-handed, leave us a note in the comment box before checking out.

On our finishes
On our finishes
Our finishes intentionally leave a slightly rough texture to prioritize lower costs over a delicate high-gloss appearance.
The natural wood grain is visible through the coating and we absolutely love it that way. If you prefer an alternative finish, you can add it yourself.

I can’t say enough how much I enjoy playing my harp-E. I love the feel of the strings, the tension. I just went through a hurricane and even with some wild temperature variations the strings stayed in tune. The other surprising aspect about the harp - E has been how much my family and people enjoy it! Amped up my kids are delighted to experiment with the harp and I feel somewhat safer with that than my more expensive acoustic instruments. My family also enjoys how quiet the Harp-E can be. If people are studying or watching TV I can practice without amp and it does not seem to disturb anyone.
A couple of comments - my battery does not actually fit in the slot as it is supposed to. It seems like the wood is just a tad bit too small. So it hangs out - not sure if that has an impact other than aesthetics. I have not wanted to force stuff and get stick so it just sort of stays bulged out.
It also surprised me that the Harp-E in black was not as black as a typical black harp. It seems more like really dark brown. I asked about that on an online forum and they basically said if I did not like it I could add another coat of stain on my own. I would just suggest that the pictures online more accurately represent the depth of color. It seems like my harp-E is lighter than the pictures online. The whole reason why I did plug in play is that I am new to harp and am an active mom of 5 embracing music again: I do not want to waste time on a building or staining, that is why I paid extra for the colored one!
Yet overall I have gotten used to that and overall the Harp- E is experience is great and I love playing it! ❤️
Hi Christy,
Thank you for your review of Harp·E, we are very happy you enjoy it! On your comment about the battery, that has a very simple and quick fix that is detailed in our newest String & Go assembly video, check it out here: https://youtu.be/Hw5AXE5EJZY?feature=shared&t=230

I like back pack and that the stand is included. Good range for the type of music that I play
